Wallis is a Lisbon-based producer, live artist and DJ whose work pushes contemporary techno towards something more personal, experimental and emotionally expansive. Known for meticulous production, hardware-led experimentation and sets filled with unreleased material, she has developed a sound that balances physical club energy with atmosphere, detail and vulnerability. Her latest LP ‘everything is not yet lost’, released on Kangding Ray’s ARA label, is her most expansive project to date, moving between introspection, intensity, melancholy and moments of euphoric release. Written, produced and mixed entirely by Wallis, with her own vocals woven throughout, the record reflects an increasingly spacious and intimate approach to her music. Having played at Berghain, Basement and Vent, alongside festivals including Sónar and Nuits Sonores, Wallis continues to carve out a distinctive space within contemporary techno.
