thredd is the collaborative project of Will Lister, Max Winter and Imogen and The Knife, formed during a month-long residency in Laylow’s basement. Writing and performing new music weekly with no time to overthink, the trio embraced instinct over polish, shaping a sound they describe as cold pop, emotionally direct and atmospherically rich.

Their debut album It’s Lovely, Come On In moves between late-night indie, synth-led pop and stripped-back confessionals, capturing themes of release, fatigue and creative freedom. With early support from BBC 6 Music, NTS and The Line of Best Fit, thredd are emerging as one of the UK’s most unpredictable and resonant new groups.
