Manchester artist, producer and multidisciplinary creative RenzNiro has spent recent years building one of the UK’s most distinctive independent catalogues, moving between grime, experimental rap, electronic music and contemporary composition. Across four projects, numerous singles and performances throughout the UK and Europe, he has developed a singular world defined by warped production, incisive lyricism and an uncompromising creative vision. His latest mixtape, ‘No Weapon Shall Prosper’, brings together stripped-back electronics, ambient textures, harder rhythmic passages and live instrumentation, with contributions from artists including Klein, Space Afrika, 00ab and Ceesho. Entirely independent and developed over several years, the project explores faith, betrayal, identity, ambition, resilience and personal transformation, while reflecting RenzNiro’s deep connections to Manchester’s alternative underground and the wider UK experimental scene.
