Camille Munn moves fluidly between neo-soul, jazz, electronic production and dance, drawing on the artists who first shaped her relationship with music. D’Angelo, Erykah Badu and Jill Scott remain lasting influences, alongside Lauryn Hill and Chaka Khan, whose approaches to soul and songwriting continue to inform her work.
With previous support from Rinse FM, Notion and The Blues Project, and performances at We Out Here, Worldwide Festival and V&A Music Is Black, Camille is steadily carving out a distinctive space between soul, jazz and electronic music. Her latest EP, ‘Desire To Be’, captures an artist continuing to expand her sound while retaining the warmth, instinct and musicality at its core.
