Ben Hauke is a London producer and live musician whose work sits at the intersection of House, Techno and Broken Beat. Over the past decade, he has developed a sound defined by groove, energy and experimentation, with releases and appearances spanning Fabric’s Broken Beat compilation, Mount Kimbie’s Fabric Presents and performances across the US and Europe. He currently plays live in the band of King Krule, while his productions have received support from Mary Anne Hobbs, OK Williams, Jamz Supernova, Karizma and Lefto. His forthcoming album ‘Future Bruk’ sees Hauke push Broken Beat into darker, faster and more experimental territory, drawing on electro, two-step, raw club music and electronic textures while keeping the genre’s rhythmic DNA firmly at its core.
